Perryn is a landless minor lord from the province of Cerrgonney. He has the ability to ensorcell women and horses with a gift that does harm to himself. He spells Jill away from Rhodry. He is stopped before he can cause even more harm and Nevyn helps him change his ways. It is believed that he may not be entirely human.
Personality[]
In the Books[]
Perryn was a minor lordling of Cerrgenny. Orphaned by the death of his mother, he went to live with his uncle Benoic, a very hard man to live with. Perryn had a native magical talent to ensorcel animals and people, which he used first to steal horses, and secondly to seduce women. Early in the events of The Dragon Revenant, it is determined that his previous incarnation had been as some other race, possibly that of the Gel da'Thae, given his empathy for horses and the general description of the creatures. He is allowed to escape, and eventually becomes a priest of Kerun, making a cameo appearance in the second act.
